Feel Right ...
Esmé Patterson is musically – as well as in her appearance – a very versatile artist. She first became known in her native Denver with the folk formation Paper Bird. In the meantime she has released several solo albums. Among them an interesting concept album (Women to Women) on which she gives a musical replica from a women’s perspective of well-known songs with which men immortalize their dream women. Amongst others there are songs composed as funny and snotty answers to “Eleanor Rigby” by the Beatles, “Caroline No” by the Beach Boys or “Jolene” by Dolly Parton. The songs “Feel Right” and “Francine”, which are presented here at a live event of the Colorado Public Radio (CPR), are taken from her current album “We were Wild”.
